Research Retreat
Each year, the Skin Biology & Diseases Resource-Based Center hosts a one day Research Retreat and Poster Session to provide a forum to enhance interactions among center investigators. In the spirit of outreach and providing visibility for research activities related to skin biology at Northwestern, we open the retreat to the entire Feinberg School of Medicine scientific community and dermatology programs at other Chicago institutions. The retreat focuses on the most exciting research findings of the preceding year, new capabilities offered by the cores and examples of their value, and an opportunity for recipients of the Pilot & Feasibility Studies awards to present their results for feedback. The end of the retreat features a two-hour informal poster session, which provides an environment conducive for scientific interaction among participants. The 15th Annual SBDRC Research Retreat will be held in the Summer of 2024.
